★★★★★ I personally think 2.0 is better.

I think 2.0 is better represents the name, Squad Busters. In 1.0 maybe 1 or 2 squads got busted. Now it’s the reverse. 1 or 2 survive. Which is exciting. Game play was repetitive in 1.0. Endless turbo chases. 2.0 started repetitive but quickly found its footing through balance changes. Still some work do there. Different game mods, Bots problem has got to be fixed. Maybe with 30sec-1min Que times. I also don’t think they realize how much of a struggle hero points are for F2P. It’s not fun having super low heroes and no end in sight. Free max sonic just for playing daily is a start. No reason the 3 special daily rewards shouldn’t give 50 hero points each, each day. Clash of clans daily rewards gives ores. They also have clan wars/league for more resources. Until something like teams or clans for more hero point, event hero points should be giving us more. If you want to get the majority of people that still play, to care about grinding or playing daily during or not even when there isn’t an event. I think a team’s idea would be fun. 4 people. You can add points to your team playing solo, 2x points for duo, and 4x points for a new game mode, teams 4v4v4. No respawns for either. I think duo gem hunt in general shouldn’t have respawning. Fixes the bug just like that too lol. Maybe you do some events with teams too. Surely there is some kind of competitive way to use teams.

★★★★★ Great game! But…

This is one of my favorite games on the App Store . It’s fun, creative, exciting and it really gets you going. It’s super fun and I enjoy it better than the other super cell games (which I’ve played but like this one the most. Not saying they’re bad but I just like this one the most). But I have to say in all honesty, you guys need to REALLY fix the chest rewards system. EVERY TIME that I get a chest, when it gets to the ultra or better…I have NEVER EVER gotten a 5 star character. I keep getting 4 star and if by some luck I get that chest even though I’m not at the 10th chest to get ultra or better….it STILL gives me a 4 star. I have at least opened 15 or more of those chests and I ALWAYS get 4 star. Please improve this because it’s really starting to get on my nerves. At least increase the chances more or guarantee it. I do like however the fact that you get to choose which character you like to upgrade instead of randomizing it that is awesome! The new modes are really fun, and I cannot wait for the update. I really do like this game and will continue to play it but please fix that chest rewards system because the constant 4 star character is getting REALLY annoying. I have yet to get a 5 star. I hope you guys hear this out and thank you for providing a fun game and the effort y’all make to keep it that way. IT IS a 5 star game for me….but please improve this feature. Thank you!

★★★★★ Wish There Was More

I really do like this game. At first, the mechanics kind of annoyed me, but I’ve been able to get over them. What I am absolutely begging the game to do is add a better incentive to log on. Right now, game progression takes forever to get one character to level 3. Give us more community events that specifically advances a character (they’ve done this with colt and chicken, and it’s fantastic). Maybe even an option where we can add bonus experience to a select character (like a wild card). Or just an ability to actually team up. I create groups with people all the time, but we end up not being able to actually team up because my squad starts to attack them. Make it a feature where you can either turn friendly fire off or on where you can choose to team up or attack the other members. Also, will you PLEASE fix the issue where if someone cancels the game in the group it will cancel it for everyone and not just that person. I don’t want to be in a group in a game if not everyone in the group actually made it INTO the game. The baseline is the game is getting boring. The new update was huge and helped a lot, so I know the developers care about keeping the game relevant. I think adding better character development and a way to actually create a community and team up with other members would go a LONNGGG way in improving the game.

I love the game, BUT, the new update has completely ruined my experience. The removal of the battle bag was an utterly game changing decision for the worse, in the patch notes they say “not enough people used it,” what about the people that do, simply because some people were not using the mechanic they should not have punished the players that were. The devs added a chance to drop keys from mobs not it’s really rare, the chances should be boosted if the battle bag has no chance of a comeback. Also the “timeout” game mode is atrocious it just simply could have been done better. The idea of it sounds fun but it was done with such poor execution, for example when you kill a “boss” on the map it’s the same loot pool. The devs made it almost not worth going for the big troops because you’ll die taking the time to kill them to only gain 3 seconds, its absurd. I love the game but overall I truly believe the devs need to seriously rethink some of the things I’ve mentioned in the new update. It makes me so sad when I see games go down hill because of poor execution, I don’t mean to downplay the intelligence of the devs by any means, but I truly believe they could have done better. I would hate to stop playing this game but it’s getting frustrating with these recent additions to the game, running around having to take out a handful of mobs just to get another character is making the game boring.

★★★★★ Lame

This game shouldn’t be called Squad Busters at all. It doesn’t have anything to do with busting squads. It’s a farming game with rules that don’t make sense to me at all. You can farm and build a great team the entire match only to get your whole team one shot. You can increase you team attack speed through holding boost and still watch your team die one by one. You can try to run but easily get chased down by another team that has a boosted run twice your speed. I understand I can just quit playing the game, and I will, but I want other players and these garbage developers to know. Avoid wasting your time and money on this junk. Halloween Event Review: I want to state whole heartedly that whoever planned this Halloween event needs to be fired. The absolute level of grind for this event was insane. Who thought it was a good idea to make the event items farmable by characters that are out of rotation most of the time?! What a sneaky shady way to try to force people to spend money on your miserable game. The Transformers event was perfect. It was kind to the casuals and allowed those who wanted to grind the ability to do so without ruining their lives. This event was basically a full time job for most. You have to pull 600 pumpkins for a chest? Oh, you get an average of 10 pumpkins a match without Mavis or Greg? Each match is 3 minutes? So it will take me 3 hours to open a chest!! I wish the worst for every single one of you involved in planning this dumb event.

★★★★★ Good idea, but terribly executed.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved the look of this game and the theory behind it. But after I started to play, I didn’t even get to the point of having battle items before I noticed a good few glaring issues. The first of which is the lack of inventive to interact with players in matches. Interacting with others is incredibly punishing as unless you have a huge upper hand when starting the fight, you will be left with little to no characters left. Basically a sitting duck for anyone nearby. Second, the automatically targeting characters can act extremely odd. Many times in a single match I noticed them ignoring monsters that had practically no health left in favor of ones who hadn’t been attacked. The two issues from earlier lead to another issue, that being the lack of a feeling of fault. If we use brawl stars as an example, we can visibly see why we had lost a match. Maybe it was due to a bad random, an assassin with high amounts of power cubes, you recklessly charging into bushes, but the point is that you often know why you lost. But in this game, where anyone can ambush you, or your character can target all the wrong enemies, I never felt at fault for my loss. It just felt like an unlucky roll of the die. Because of those issues and more, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this game until some changes and fixes are made to make matches feel more engaging and reasonable to the player.

★★★★★ Leaves you frustrated

This game had so much potential. The aspects of leveling up your heroes to gain more of an edge in battle as well as the variety of functions each different hero had really presented an alluring way to try and craft a successful squad. That being said, you are forced to pay money if you want to obtain those epic heroes. Fine. I paid. I noticed, however, that the more epic heroes I obtained the more difficult my matches got, not easier. No matter how versatile my squad makeup was I was constantly being beaten and mostly by ai controlled opponents. The bad thing about these ai opponents is if you start being beaten they all are synced to pinpoint you and eliminate you without being distracted by each other even when 3 enemy squads are brought in close proximity together as you flee. It’s as if you as a human player have a bullseye slapped on your back. Considering winning is how you obtain better rewards, being constantly beat down by teamed-up ai opponents gets very old very fast! The match making is wretched and imbalanced. If you get any epic heroes in your squad, then expect all your opponents to have all 4 star maxed heroes in their squad. You will lose unless you are lucky enough to avoid enemy squads and can use the supplier heroes to give you enough gels to place in the top 5. Bottom line…it’s only fun the first day. Their greed and mismanagement of the game platform has sunk this boat for long term play consideration.
