Temporal War is a mind-bending strategy game that turns the concept of 'time' into a physical battlefield. It’s not just a combat game; it’s a chronological puzzle. You don't just fight enemies in the present; you have to deploy units to the past to ensure your present-day base even exists. This 'butterfly effect' mechanic is handled brilliantly, with changes in the early rounds physically altering the map in the later rounds.

The visual style is fantastic, mixing futuristic tech with ancient ruins to represent the various eras you're fighting in. The difficulty curve is steep, as you have to keep track of three or four different timelines simultaneously, but the payoff of a perfectly executed 'Grandfather Paradox' strategy is unmatched. It’s an ambitious, intelligent, and highly original strategy game that will appeal to fans of 'Into the Breach' or anyone who loves a good time-travel story.

I appreciate the attempt at doing something different. Using time travel as a core mechanic is a bold move, and when it works, it’s quite clever. However, the execution feels a bit amateurish in places. The UI is confusing, and the story is filled with sci-fi tropes that I've seen done better in 90s PC games. It’s a bit of a 'diamond in the rough,' but the rough is very, very thick. I like the challenge of thinking three moves ahead in two different timelines, but the balance is off—some units are clearly broken. It’s worth a look if you’re tired of the usual mobile slop, but prepare for some frustration.
