Tue Nov 05 2019 MaprimaI’d like to start of by saying I loved this game, I had already beaten Mormo twice and I was on my third run, when one of the dungeons wouldn’t let me complete it. And that sucked, but I got it, a randomly generated world would have some bugs, but it sucked, I could complete the toy dungeon to get to the trial dungeon for the anchor, but that’s fine. What I really hated was when I got on to play today, my save file was completely gone, poof, like I had never even played. I think this game is amazing, but until they fix this bug, it really blows to pour your time into something only to have it deleted.

Thu Oct 24 2019 Br0kenNickWell worth the price, this AAA title feels right at home on the iPad (I use a first gen Pro). I also use an mfi controller and have had no issues whatsoever. This fun adventure game has a quirky sense of humor that reminds me of Double Fine’s games. This publisher has released some great games and I hope they continue to do so (and not make them Arcade exclusive).
It follows standard troupes with you being the silent hero-type, going into dungeons for loot and leveling up until the time comes when you must face down the big bad, Mormo. There is a slight time element to the game but I like that. It keeps you from dawdling for too long and balancing between exploring and completing quests. The game rewards success with more challenges and new areas.
My only wishlist item would be if it could have coop multiplayer, I don’t know if that’s possible on the iPad but if so that would be fantastic!

Fri Nov 08 2019 Wisconsin Death TripIf you liked SNES Zelda and looking for a good game to play with a controller, this is it. People complain about the touch screen controls, but I had no problem with them as well. The game has its own charm and uniqueness to it, that just makes me want to keep playing. Been at it for about a week or so now, beat mormo twice, got a lot of the badges toys, legendary stickers and whatnots. The game has depth to it. It’s a longer game if you manage your time right on the overworld. This is my first review ever, just wanted to say it was def worth the download for me. Only thing I would add to the game is that you could sell stickers or items to someone or anyone for some kind of currency. Hope to find more game like this in the future.

So good I would give 10 stars. My review will be short because I’m playing the game now. Everyone should try this game worth more than the asking price. Hope to see another game like this soon. If you like adventure and Zelda then definitely pick this up. You will be happy with your purchase. Thanks again guys. You are awesome hope to see more ditto in future.

If not, it would’ve most likely charged a subscription directly or through Apple Arcade. THIS GAME IS BETTER THAN ANY APPLE ARCADE GAME AND ONLY CHARGES YOU $6 ONCE!!! The ONLY thing I would ask for will hopefully come in future updates and that is MULTIPLAYER! I really want to play this game with my wife and son but as of now...no multiplayer. Huge thanks to the devs on this one! You’ve answered my prayers with a game that surpassed all of my high expectations. I’ve enjoyed Devolver games before but this game is pure premium perfection!!!
Needs more ways to control character

I am finding it extremely difficult to control my character and choose my weapon. The game should be more keyboard friendly especially for people that have an iPad with a keyboard attachment. I use my keyboard alot and it would be great if you guys could add some sort of keyboard control option
Unplayable
Sun Jun 21 2020 Zeek1227This game seems so cool. I love the dungeons and the general idea, however this game is entirely unplayable with the touch controls provided. My character makes drastic movements from only slight changes in my thumb placement often times in the complete opposite direction I was intending to go. I play a lot of games on my phone I’ve never had this issue. I fall of ledges or walk into walls constantly and combat is insanely hard with this control situation. If a virtual stick that actually works is added I’ll update my review because I really want to like this game.i think you can use controllers so if you own a controller for your phone this game would be well worth your money unfortunately I do not and as such I must rate this 1 star as I can’t play it properly with the provided tools.

Graphics: Beautiful with excellent animations!
Soundtrack: Superb quality! The style is both retro and modern at the same time!
Gameplay: Tight, responsive controls! (Especially when using my Xbox One controller) If you enjoy old school Zelda, this game will make you feel right at home! You’ll have plenty of tools and upgrades at your disposal to play the way you want!
Story: This game pays homage to the games of yesteryear. The story is straightforward and it just works! You’re the hero who must slay an ancient evil! If you die, another hero takes your place 100 years later. You don’t really need to know much more than that, but you can always read up on the lore if you want.
This is probably the best game I’ve ever played on a mobile device. This is the kind of game I grew up on and I really hope they make a sequel!

From the first couple of moments, I was already hooked!
This game is a piece of art. Everything from the visual, to the technical. The gameplay is seamless, no lag, no glitching. The artwork is just beautiful. The storyline is fun, and it reminds me a bit of Zelda in a way; which is a huge compliment. If you are reading this you need to just stop reading right now and buy the game because these devs nailed it.
Unexpected polish
Thu Oct 24 2019 bbeck217I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised when I first started my way through the tutorial. The visuals are really amazing for what they are and very smooth. So far the game seems great, my one grip is the movement feels a little... off? Like moving in a straight line feels really slow but strafing and moving diagonally feels closer to what I would expect. I gather that I’ll adjust as I play on though. Fantastic game. Definitely worth the five bucks.
