Look, it’s Snake. We’ve been playing Snake since the Nokia 3310. Tubesnake tries to add a bit of 'sophistication' by confining the movement to specific paths, turning it into more of a spatial puzzle. It works, but it’s remarkably forgettable.
The visuals are clean, sure—modern minimalist—but there’s no hook. I found myself playing it while waiting for the kettle to boil, and then immediately forgetting I even had it installed. It’s competent, but in a market saturated with puzzle games, 'competent' is just another word for 'background noise.'
