Explore a toy-like dream world

Our Site Score

90/100

Windosill is a meditative, toy-like puzzle experience that feels like stepping into a surreal pop-up book. Each room presents a new, abstract landscape filled with strange objects that react to your touch. Your goal is always the same—find the hidden cube to unlock the door—but the path to finding it is filled with wonder and surprise.

The physics-based interactions are the star of the show. Whether you're poking a wobbly tower or guiding a mechanical bird, every movement feels weighted and intentional. It’s a short experience, designed to be completed in one sitting, but it leaves a lasting impression. It’s a perfect example of how games can be used as a medium for artistic expression and playful investigation.

Dinsun Review

Now this is something I can respect. Windosill isn't trying to sell you coins or show you ads; it’s trying to show you a vision. It’s short—you can finish it in under an hour—but every moment feels handcrafted. The puzzles aren't 'puzzles' in the sense of math or riddles; they are about curiosity. You poke at a thing, see how it moves, and eventually, a door opens.

The vector art is crisp and timeless. It doesn't age because it doesn't try to be realistic. My only real complaint is the length. As a consumer, I like to feel like I’m getting a full meal, and this is more of an appetizer. But the quality is undeniable. It’s the kind of game that reminds you mobile devices can actually be used for art, not just exploitative gambling clones. It’s weird, it’s quiet, and it’s very well executed.
