Crossword Explorer+ in Apple Arcade

I respect the crossword as a medium, but 'Tiny' is an accurate description of the ambition here as well. The puzzles are often so short that they're over before they've even engaged your brain. It feels more like a vocabulary test for middle schoolers than a genuine puzzle experience for a seasoned gamer.

Technically, it's fine. The interface works, the hints aren't too intrusive. But there’s zero soul here. No clever wordplay, no 'aha' moments that you get from the New York Times or even a decent indie word game. It’s the gaming equivalent of plain toast. It's fine for keeping the gears turning, but don't expect to be challenged. In the crowded Apple Arcade library, this one barely justifies the storage space.
