As you win bouts, you can upgrade your fighter's stats—Power, Health, and Speed—which becomes essential as the AI opponents get significantly more aggressive. There is a genuine sense of satisfaction in landing a heavy 'blocky' hook that sends your opponent flying across the ring. While it can feel repetitive after long sessions, its short match structure makes it an ideal 'pick-up-and-play' title for commutes or quick breaks. I grew up with Punch-Out!!, and let me tell you, this isn't it. Block Fighter tries to coast on that trendy voxel aesthetic, but the gameplay is purely button-mashing (or screen-tapping) garbage. There’s no sense of timing, no real strategy, and the hitboxes are as blocky as the characters themselves.

It feels floaty and disconnected. When you land a punch, there’s no impact. The progression system is just a treadmill of stat boosts designed to make up for the lack of actual depth. It’s a cheap-feeling arcade game that’s trying too hard to look like Minecraft. If you want a real boxing game, go find an emulator. This is just filler for the App Store.
