The Ganz schön clever series is the gold standard for roll-and-writes, and Cubed is the most complex of the bunch. This digital port is functional, but it has some QA issues—German text occasionally popping up in the English version, for example. The gameplay itself is brilliant. It’s all about the 'combo'—triggering three bonuses with one die placement. It’s hard as nails and definitely not for the 'candy crush' crowd. It loses points for a slightly buggy interface, but the mechanics are top-tier.
