Grappling hooks are a staple of good game designβlook at Bionic Commando or even Just Cause. This tries to capture that 'zip' but the physics feel floaty and imprecise. One minute you're swinging perfectly, the next the collision detection decides you've hit a wall that was five pixels away. For a 40-year-old gamer like me, if the controls aren't tight, the game isn't right. Itβs got some charm in the animations, but the level design is repetitive and feels like it was generated by an algorithm rather than a human with a vision. Itβs okay for a few rounds, but it wonβt hold your attention for long.
