Iβve seen this song and dance a hundred times since the early days of Flash gaming. Icy Escort tries to pull at your heartstrings with cute penguins, but beneath the coat of white paint is a repetitive puzzle crawler that offers nothing new to the genre. The physics are occasionally floaty, leading to 'deaths' that feel unearned and frustrating rather than challenging. Itβs the kind of game that fills space on a phone but rarely captures the mind.
Even as a budget title, the lack of depth is staggering. Each level feels like a slight variation of the last, and the 'puzzles' are often just tests of patience.
