Dinsun Review

I’m surprised. This isn't just another casual throwaway. Cat Physics has actual level design. You have to think about angles and timing, and the solution isn't always obvious. It reminds me of the old PC puzzle games I used to play in the 90s. It’s clean, the cats are minimally animated so as not to be annoying, and the difficulty curve is actually well-managed.

My only gripe is that it’s a bit short, and the scoring system (based on the distance the ball travels) can feel a bit arbitrary at times. But compared to the garbage usually found on the charts, this is a breath of fresh air. It’s a 68—which for me is high praise for a mobile puzzler. It does one thing and it does it well without trying to sell me fake currency every five minutes.

Aiming for Three Stars

To get three stars, you must find the shortest path for the ball. Experiment with the angle of the arrows; sometimes a slight adjustment can bypass an obstacle entirely or use a bounce to shave distance off the total path.
