Rat on a Scooter XL is what mobile gaming used to be before everything became about loot boxes and stamina bars. It’s simple: you jump, you survive, you get a score. Donut Games knows how to nail the 'one more try' feeling. The physics are just arcadey enough to be fun without being frustrating, and the different modes (like the fuel-collection one) actually change how you play.

Is it deep? No. Will you remember it in a year? Probably not. But for ten minutes on the subway, it’s exactly what it needs to be. It’s honest. It doesn't pretend to be an epic; it just lets you be a rat on a scooter. I respect the lack of bloat. It’s a clean, efficient piece of entertainment that knows its limits.
