Dinsun here. Puff Up is another entry in the 'why does this exist?' category of mobile games. The central mechanic—inflating yourself to interact with the environment—could be interesting in a more complex game, but here it’s stripped down to its most boring possible implementation. You hold your finger down, you get bigger, you let go. That’s it. It’s a conservative, risk-averse design that aims for the lowest common denominator.
The puzzles require about as much brainpower as tying your shoes. The minimalist art style is less of an aesthetic choice and more of a 'we didn't have an artist' reality. Like many of its peers, the game is heavily interrupted by ads that last longer than the actual levels. There’s no sense of accomplishment, no challenge, and no reason to recommend it to anyone over the age of six. It’s a digital distraction, nothing more.
