Great Match Three
Thu May 02 2024 rjh19820813rjhReally glad I purchased this game. Lots of fun for the low price. My problem with most match 3 games are the gimmicks, ads, grinding, or pay-to-win that comes with most (if not all) of them. This dev made a super clean, super fun version with none of that. You make your way through boards, winning achievements to unlock different symbol/color tiles you can use as you please. Different obstacles like gaps, blocks, fans and blobs are presented along the way that you have to navigate or destroy. Power ups are available to help when stuck. Really like that you can use a turn to move even if the move doesn’t result in a match. I set an original goal to get three stars on a level before moving on, but had to abandon that around level 70 due to seemingly impossible score objectives. I now replay every level until getting at least two stars. I got stuck on level 138 for a couple days, but wasn’t the start of an inevitable wall where even the one star targets make boards completely unsolvable. Really solid mobile game. Some small fixes to suggest would be 1) that moving a match into a T shape should result in a power up 2) a few levels said I had a obstacles remaining when the board was clear 3) having left over moves should get you more extra points toward stars and 4) leftover power ups should auto execute after 0 moves left. Currently on level 233. Great mind exerciser and time killer. Great job dev. 10/10 would recommend.
Easily The Best Match 3 Game In The App Store
Thu Jul 24 2025 bard 1925I have found through experience that the match 3 games that have in-app purchases have a rigged algorithm where the game, regardless of your moves, leads you to a point where you almost win the level and then offers you more chances if you make a purchase. This game you pay up front and there are NO in-app purchases. As such the game is entirely fair. If you play well you win. If you don’t, you lose. The gameplay is a simple straightforward match 3. As you play along you get power ups for advancing and reaching goals and you can change the themes of the tiles. There are no ridiculous side puzzles, growing a garden, or purchasing farm animals. The graphics are satisfying without being overwhelming. Don’t mistake “simple” for “easy”. I am up to level 65 and finding it VERY challenging. Works well on an iMac with trackpad or iPad. Easily worth what you pay for it. Thank you Mulberry Tree Games for a fair, fun, addictive match 3 game. Outstanding!!

Tue Nov 05 2024 souperbrickWow this game is phenomenal! i prefer this over its contemporaries because rather than drip feeding you unlockables and forcing you to grind this game has a satisfying gameplay loop of rewarding you with plenty of new tiles as you complete simple objectives. i’m only 13 levels in and i already have a plethora of tiles to choose from! AND the art direction is adorable! i am very curious if the developer designed these herself! I love the gradual incorporation of new mechanics as you progress through each level, it keeps things fresh and challenging. the music is lovely too and there are separate toggles for SFX and music! my only criticism is i wish there was a greater variety of rainbow tiles and power ups on the actual board, maybe additional effects could occur when you combine rainbow tiles together rather then them chaining together? regardless, this app is brilliant and completely worth the $2! thank you for your hard work!!
Ran into an issue
Sun May 26 2024 Idontwant12345678I received a developer response but don’t see it here. The response said they tried for a balance of difficulty. I understand and appreciate the response. But the description says a relaxed game. I didn’t find it relaxing. I find my self saying way too much, I hope I never have to play that level again. Just not my cup of tea. I’ll keep looking for a less serious distraction.

Sorry I had to change my rating. There is the blue smoke/black bar feature that came up. A lot of match 3 use this. No other app makes the smoke grow at every patch occurrence when one block isn’t knocked out. So you have to use all your power ups to try to clear the smoke. You lose one square for every patch, even of you clear one, you have to gain more smoke. It’s not fun like this. —— We are all tired of the match 3 games that have limited play or difficult levels that require watching an ad, paying for power ups, or slogging through onerous story lines that we don’t want to see. Sometimes we want an easy distraction and this is perfect. it’s an idea that is very welcome.

Sat Jan 25 2025 megs.draws.stuffI have downloaded a lot of games. I always want to find that cozy unwinding game for the end of my day. I loved the aesthetics of this game the second I saw it! It’s not super flashy with things zapping, blasting and exploding in your face every two seconds. It’s just a simple match game along the lines of any of the plethora of them but it does it simple and cuter way. The option of paying for no ads is awesome and well worth it. Winning the gift boxes to customize tiles appeals to the collector in me and is a fun twist. It’s easy enough that you can breeze through a couple levels and then get humbled really quick when a new obstacle is introduced. Even though it’s not flashy, you can tell so much thought and care went into making it. It’s a perfect cozy little puzzle game and it will be my night time game for a loooooong time now!

Wed May 07 2025 MakingTheMostOfLifeI look forward each day to playing this game… I have completed all the challenges/achievements, including earning 3 stars on 300 levels. I am hoping there are new levels soon. I have many power-ups stored up for future play. Only “new” level I can play now is the Daily Level. And now, the counter on my daily level is stuck at 76 out of 90 daily levels. Can that be fixed? This game is such a refreshing change from what so many other developers have out there with ad bombardments, rigging games to force purchases to advance, etc. This game brings back the “patience and perseverance” aspect of playing a game. Some levels, I have restarted over and over, but in the end, it’s cleared, and that gives the feeling of achievement.

Amazing match 3 game
Sun Jul 20 2025 sesandroThanks so much for developing this. It's so awesome to have a match 3 game that isn't trying to upsell you all of the time. I love the simplicity and the customization options. The music is also very relaxing.
After playing for a couple days I have two minor complaints. 1. Sometimes swipes don't always register at first, like they have small touch boxes (similarly changing the tile icons is pretty finicky in the settings). 2. I feel like combining the rainbows isn't as satisfying as other match 3 games. Like, combining two vertical rainbows doesn't really give you an advantage over using both individually. In other games combing special tiles would result in a more powerful tile or effect.

Wed Feb 26 2025 electricgodI love this little game - no ads for a small price, no in app purchases, no lives to worry about. Even though there are only 300 levels, there is a daily level every day and zen mode so it never gets boring.
The only suggestion - I have noticed that some days the daily level is seemingly impossible to achieve (either in the number of given moves or because there is no way to seemingly clear obstacles, like today actually). I can usually tell when there are no other user scores on the leaderboard for the entire day.
Overall, highly recommend this game! Worth the nominal price.

And there are a ton of cool and cute tile options so you can change the look of the tiles when they start burning into your brain (you know, like when you close your eyes and see these games in your mind’s eye). The music is soothing, the graphics are simple—it’s the only match game I’ve ever played where I just want to keep playing it because it’s calming and engaging. This deserves so many more reviews and 5 star ratings! And it was developed by a woman. Yay! Amazing work! You’ll love this game.
Great game worth the cost to own!
Wed Jul 02 2025 BABraden1Things I love: no micro transactions, I can play anytime (no lives to earn or wait for), it has a daily challenge and zen mode. Relaxing game play! My one gripe I have is the game will only play in portrait mode and I prefer to play games in landscape. Small gripe and I guess it’s just my preference. I am very much enjoying the game, especially since I completely stopped playing a different match 3 who’s developers were making changes which in no way were enhancing a game I had been playing for over 10 years.
