Cut the Rope: Experiments Gold takes everything that made the original Om Nom adventure a global phenomenon and adds a scientific twist. The introduction of the Professor character adds a layer of charm, and the new gadgets—like suction cups, rockets, and robotic arms—refresh the gameplay significantly. It’s no longer just about timing your cuts; it’s about understanding how these new tools interact with the environment to deliver the candy to our favorite little green monster.

The Gold edition is particularly worth it for the ad-free experience. The 200 levels included are ingeniously designed, and the addition of hidden prizes and 'Om Nom Stories' shorts provides plenty of incentive to keep playing. Some of the later levels require genuine precision and 'out of the box' thinking, but the difficulty never feels unfair. It's a polished, joyful experience that remains a staple of the puzzle genre.
