Dinsun Review
Look, I’ve played enough Donut Games titles to know the drill. Frogbert is clean, it's functional, and it follows the mobile template to a T. The mechanics are fine—tapping to snap the tongue feels responsive enough—but it’s a game we’ve seen a hundred times since 2011. The challenge mode is where the 'real' game is, but even then, the level design is fairly predictable. It’s the kind of game you play while waiting for a bus and then forget the moment you put your phone away.
Technically, it's solid. It supports MFi controllers, which is a nice touch for a small title, but the gameplay doesn't really demand that level of precision. The 3-star system is designed to trigger that completionist itch, but I find it more tedious than rewarding these days. It’s a relic of an era when 'simple' was an excuse for 'shallow.' It’s not a bad game, but it’s certainly not a classic.
